Tips and free software

Whatever computer you have, it will work better if you take care of it. Here are a few tips and links to software all available free of charge.

  • Viruses

Update your anti-virus definitions regularly. Your protection is only as good as the nasty things it recognises and knows how to deal with. If program updates are available for your software, they will usually improve recognition of viruses so install those too.
